About David Gilkes & Sons Coventry

David Gilkes & Sons Ltd began trading in 1983 as a small household moving Company, a quarter of a century later we are carrying out over 700 Domestic & Commercial Removals per year and provide excellent storage facilities for many clients.

Two generations of family are still managing the company providing a comprehensive range of services from a simple house move to a museum or library removal. We are focussed on delivering a personal friendly service to all of our customers, Our team of trained staff are reliable courteous dependable and experienced in the removals industry. We are members of the Freight Transport Association.

David Gilkes & Sons sponsors various events each year, last year we donated towards costs & provided a van as a support vehicle for a cycle ride from Lands End to John O Groats in aid of Williams Syndrome. The cyclists can be seen prior to the mammoth ride below. In total the ride raised £7000 in aid of The Williams Foundation completing the journey in 14 days!

We also sponsor The Brinklow Micros Football Team, a team of under sevens from a local village, providing Kit & support. Also Rugby Riding Club on their annual awards day and Sponsor The Captains Day, at Stonleigh Deer Park Golf Club in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital which raised nearly £30.000 for the Charity last year.
