Business moves are a significant aspect of David Gilkes & Sons Ltd. Each year we carry out some 150 commercial moves and take great pride in the relationships we have built with our customers.

Each year the challenges are becoming greater as our teams are deployed on a wide range of moves, please take a look at some of our recent projects below with comments included from the customers.

In September 2007 we carried out major relocation work at Warwick HRI in Wellesbourne. This involved moving 143 members of staff, the additional creation of 76 workstations for students and visiting staff & laboratory and specialist equipment moves. The vacated three story building was then cleared in readiness for works.

The following was received after completion of the moves:

Also in 2007 we helped Warwickshire College with the move into a newly refurbished teaching block, upon completion of the work we were pleased to receive the following comments.

"The College has used David Gilkes removals for many years now; this was my first time using the firm for a significant move. The job was not straight forward, it was a multi phase move of over 5000m2 of partially furnished space which all needed to be cleared and partially recycled. It was then to be filled with some 200+ staff members, a Library, Customer Service Centre and two complete teaching departments, inclusive of all furniture and loose fittings from a variety of locations within the Leamington campus and from other College sites.
