Containerised Storage for Domestic Moves

During the moving process, you may require storage services for all or some of your belongings. We can offer our customers a clean dry and secure solution at our containerised storage facility, long or short term period.

Your furniture & belongings will be collected by our removals team, an inventory will be made & the goods are loaded into purpose built containers each with a 250 cubic foot capacity. Once loaded the containers are sealed and stacked in the warehouse until it is time to move again.

You may wish to store single items such as settees or pianos, we can offer special rates to organise the collection & storage of these items, please call for further information.

We also carry full removers & storage insurance. Terms & conditions are available on request.

Peace of Mind

Our Warehouse facility is fully alarmed to detect fire & intrusion, we also benefit from not just one, but two security patrols, UK Guarding operate a 24 hour presence on site and a second team of 4 vehicles and foot patrols operate in the district visiting our site 4 times in any 24 hour period. This service is supplied by the Coventry Business Improvement District scheme.

Commercial Storage

David Gilkes & Sons recognise the need to supply large & small businesses alike with storage solutions.

If your business needs a space to store items short term i.e. a delivery of goods that you just do not have the space for or somewhere to store furniture during decoration or maintenance at your premises. Then we can offer “open storage” a flexible service tailored to the customer's needs. You can rent by the square foot ensuring that you do not waste cash on space that is not fully utilised, this is also beneficial as items can be added or removed at relatively short notice.

Longer term storage is also available with discounts on contracts over 12 months, please call for details.

Document Storage

With record keeping & documents piling up these days, your organisation may need to find extra space to store older or less used documents, that must be kept for long periods of time.

David Gilkes & Sons can offer an excellent document storage system that allows you to store your files securely, whilst allowing you access or delivery of individual files upon request.

Your files are stored on shelves in secure padlocked containers within our warehouse, you are able to access the containers with an instant view of all of the files stored.

Each document container can accommodate up to 64 archive boxes with space to walk between the shelves.
